Cooperation between GEI and Chivast Education International

In October 2017, representatives of GEI signed a contract with Chivast Education International, the overseas study service agency affiliated to Chinese Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE), Ministry of Education.

Collaboration between GEI and Chivast Education International is dedicated to expanding existing links between Chinese and American educational institutions in order to increase students’ mobility between these countries, establish staff exchange programs, support collaboration in areas of interest as well as benefit the associated institutions. Both parties share a desire to develop by collaboratively strengthening and enriching educational and research experience for faculty members and students from partner universities, and hope to create more study abroad opportunities for prospective students.

GEI representatives based in the agency’s headquarters in Beijing will offer trainings to educational consultants from all over the country, hold promotional activities and information sessions about American education system, and provide guidance to students interested in pursuing higher education in the United States.

Chivast Education International is an institution affiliated to Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE), Ministry of Education. It is the first overseas study service agency in China accredited by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Public Security and State Industrial and Commercial Administration Bureau. Chivast has a number of branches located in all major Chinese provinces and cities. Educational consultants working for the agency offer advice to students and parents interested in overseas education and support returning students with obtaining accreditationa of overseas credentials. Chivast is also an organizer of the leading education exhibition in the country – China International Education Exhibition Tour (CIEET), attended by more than  15,000 visitors every year.
