Interactive Seminars
GEI’s TESOL Certificate Program has two components. The first is a series of interactive instructional seminars facilitated by qualified TESOL trainers. The seminars cover a range of topics including linguistic theories, grammar, pronunciation, teaching and learning strategies, and teaching techniques for specific topics such as reading, writing, and speaking.
Practicum
The second component is a practicum inside one of GEI’s English learning centers. The practicum will allow participants the opportunity to observe experienced teachers first-hand in a genuine classroom environment. The practicum is designed to give students supervised practical application of the theory and techniques they have studied. They will then create and execute lessons with real students to utilize their skills and knowledge and gain practical experience.
Certification
Participants will receive GEI TESOL Certificate upon completing both the seminar and practicum components.
Instructors
GEI has enlisted highly experienced and qualified TESOL instructors. Each instructor holds at least a master’s degree in TESOL and has years of teaching experience.
